re: #154 Walter L. Newton

Double standards, business, the NFL and Rush’s partners are not the issue, are they? The NFL can have all the double standards they want, can’t they? And if they don’t want Rush to invest in a team, they can stop them, can’t they?

You may not like it, it may not seem fair to you, but it’s doesn’t matter if you like it or if it’s the most unfair business decision ever made in the history of commerce.

What a sick remark, “despite his excesses.” Do you go around making excuses for other people like that? You comment in itself is a double standard.

You can’t have it both ways.

And besides, the NFL is operating in a free market. I thought all the fiscal conservatives always said no one should ever tinker with the free market. If the NFL owners made the wrong decision, then their profits will go down. No one will show up at the games, life as the NFL fans knew it will no longer exist…

On the other hand if they made the right call, there will be lots of tail gate parties this weekend.
