There’s a DMV at a mall here that’s open Saturday, and it’s never busy because it seems people have no clue it’s open Saturday!

I hear the DMV argument as some sort of “evidence” of the fact that government doesn’t work. Because I guess nobody ever waits in line anywhere else? Then I explain to them how I got in and out of a DMV with my new license, photo and all, in a matter of minutes.

In general, I have OK luck with the DMV. If you go to the one in San Francisco near Haight, you wait forever, because it’s always full, but the service is good.
