Jews can be atheists. Followers of Judaism can’t.

in the christian system, you believe in jesus or go to hell (amirite? christians help me out here)

in the jewish system, if you’re a nice person god doesn’t mind anything else, even if you don’t believe in him

therefore, in judaism being a good person is paramount and whether or not you believe in god is hardly really important at all, even if you say your religion is jewish
