The nation is a lot more polarized now. Trump will win most of the South and a lot of small western states.

I think realistically the 2008 map is about the best we can do any more. It took them a while to call Missouri then, so maybe add that. OTOH, there may be some Electoral jiggery-pokery in states like Wisconsin, awarding EC votes by Congressional or Legislative district, so who knows?

Trump could go down like Landon on the Popular vote and still win. We’ll see if the American people sit still for that. They sat still in 2000, so I’m not hopeful.
