This is so fucked up.

And yet it’s our reality. This is why Black Lives Matters matters. It’s why it’s fought tooth and nail and treated as a “terrorist organization”.

It’s why changing it is so hard short of fucking revolution, it seems: the institutions are rotten to the core and inoculate themselves fully and utterly.
