Try this:

Tell yourself you are too good to watch teevee on a regular old set anymore.

Turn off the old teevee and never look at it again. Better, take it to the dump.

Wait three weeks and see if you miss it.

If not, figure out the maximum you would have spent on a new teevee and send me 10% for saving you all that money.

I can live without TV. My wife could not. I have a 35” TV right now but I know football, hockey, and baseball will look so much better on a HDTV.
