I am sorry to say that I have lost faith in public education in this country. It has failed our children greatly. In my state, kids graduate from high-school knowing all about potlatches and longhouses but have little if any knowledge on how their “fedril gummint” works, or doesn’t work for that matter. And then there is the so called “socialization”, the word that is dropped as the best reason not to home-school our kids. They say “They will not be properly socialized at home”. But I won’t even bother going there. The socialization of our children at the hands of public education is complete. They should be very proud. They did it and they did it well.

Sexed up.
Dumbed down.
Stoned out of their minds.
