Well, there are people who just plain don’t like the holiday season, and then there are the the egotistical types who feel that “If something makes me feel bad or awkward then its EVIL!!1” Then lastly there are atheists who don’t like religious holidays, including Hanukkah.

If they don’t like them, they are free to not observe.

I don’t observe Christmas but I don’t get all butthurt because other people enjoy it.
