That having been said, it’s worth repeating that California’s gun laws did not stop this attack. But then again, even had the people who were shot been armed most them would have been hit anyways; There was simply no time to react.

Drunk driving laws don’t stop people from driving drunk, so we should just get rid of those laws.

No, it’s not ‘worth repeating’…it’s a stupid thing to say and is completely irrelevant. Gun laws will reduce the chances of gun violence by reducing the number of guns available, but they will never stop some asshole from taking a weapon and opening fire on a crowd of people.
