once he fucked up, people were coming out of the ratholes cackling with glee, but he was something Congress needed, somebody to yell right back at the GOP douchebags.

…and that’s the thing that infuriates me most about what he did: he knew damn well he was providing a needed service, and also knew damn well the right would do anything to take him down…so why on earth did he give them the rope to hang him with??
