That was nothing compared to when I went to college. You learned REAL quick to lock your terminal before leaving the computer lab. Otherwise, your next login shell might begin outputting random garbage - or, as I did once to an unfortunate colleague who suffered from a lapse in security diligence, beeping incessantly because it echoed the ASCII “bell” character to the terminal in an infinite loop…
