I’m so glad that Bush scrapped the ABM treaty, allowing Russia to build inbound phase maneuverable warheads. That missile shield that could only hit in rigged tests was money really well spent.

Their new generation ASM’s are nasty as hell, like the SS-N-22 “Sunburn”. It features terminal phase counter fire avoidance and pop-up features. The new Raytheon RAM system replacing the CIWS is supoosed to counter the Sunburn and similar missiles, but we are still using 30 year old Harpoons.
