I’ll be perfectly honest, this is not how I saw this whole mess coming to an end:

At this point, I can’t understand how anyone can believe going forward that she has a single shred of credibility for any reason other than sheer hatred of Joe Biden.

For all those in the squishy middle who only make up their minds in the last few days before an election and don’t pay any attention to politics otherwise, it will matter.

Tara Reade’s story is inside baseball for political rodent copulation and political junkies now. In the days before the election, when the GOP, Russian trolls, and Bern Outs trot out this stale chestnut, it will provide a) see they’re both the same, b) chaos from Russia, and c) this is why Bernie needs to be the nominee.

It will work on a surprising number of people who never pay attention to politics except for a few days every four years.
