The way I see it is if the Republicans really wants photo ID for voting then you don’t pass laws right before an election you pass it after and them make sure everyone has it before the next election.

To me these laws were not passed for voter fraud they were passed for suppression just because of the timing.

The crux of the issue is that Republican simply don’t want everyone who’s eligible to vote to actually vote. While they couch their rhetoric in populist terms their entire strategy is anti-democratic and openly reliant on apathy and suppression. That’s how we get people predicting a depressed black voter turnout as if such a thing is inherently good, never mind that such a desire is intrinsically racist.
