I noticed this with a lot of Shi’as unfortunately. This reminds me of the 1990s when so many Eastern Orthodox Christians would blindly side with Slobodan Milosevic, Ratko Mladic, and Radovan Karadzic, simply because of shared Orthodox solidarity.

If religious solidarity makes one blind and immune to the crimes of their own, then I want no part of it.
