Where is the critical thinking here? This thinking was displayed in the video of Hitchens/Mos Def, where Mos Def stated proudly that ‘he doesn’t believe every think CNN tells him just because they say so.’ Once Hitchens started politely taking issue with Def the volume and talk-over got louder.

We are supposed to respect this logic just because someone thinks or feels it, and worse, respect the shallow logic if espoused with charisma and style. Critical thinking is not even in the picture here.
