Not at all. The only literary similarities Cashill can point to are “an obsession with the instability of memory” — i.e., the central concern for everyone writing an autobiography, a well known and well worn concern especially for those with any familiarity with postmodernism— and sea imagery.

If the use of metaphors deriving from the sea means someone is ghostwriting, I guess Homer has ghostwritten…well, everything.
