I favor Voter ID laws, but it must be possible for those entitled to vote to actually get the free IDs in question. If not, then the law will have to be scrapped.

“Possible” is not good enough. It must already be in hand. Since that is often not the case, voter ID laws amount to voter suppression. Simple as that.
