I’m finding it more and more difficult to find a quality dentist now days. Over the last 6 years I have gone through 4 different dentists while the prior 30+ I had three. I think dentists are becoming too much like a service industry rather than a healthcare provider. My last dentist was just down-right creepy from the way he dressed to the way he treated his staff. He convinced me to replace all my old metal fillings with the new ceramic fillings, but never emphasized the possible down-sides, i,e., months and months of extreme sensitivity, discomfort, etc. During my last follow-up with him, he walks into the exam room sporting a nickel-sized cold sore on his mouth. Needless to say I never returned.

Ok…..I’m just venting.
