The Bright Angel trail is pretty safe, it just takes a long time to get to the bottom.
That pic I posted is the Grandview (very steep and unmaintained) trail.
It can be nice and safe but it still involves a ton of DOWN so really it would depend on how much there is in the way of walls along switchbacks and whatnot. And even then.

When I was in Ireland (just for you, Klys) we went to the Skellig Islands. I got about 4 steps up and gave up on the whole idea. Sat at the base and watched the puffins.[Embedded image]
I skipped Uncle Tom’s trail the last trip because it involves lots of stairs made out of that see-through metal grate. HAHAHAHAHA, no.
When we did our most recent road trip, we stopped by one of the fire lookout towers and went up and that was bad enough.
