The only problem about running for the state legislature from a personal perspective is how much the pay is. You have to live in Lincoln while the legislature is in session, which means you have to keep up two residences.

Legislator pay is $12,000 a year. If I were independently wealthy, that might make it a bit easier. Lincoln is four hundred miles away.

(Note to self: Start buying lots of MegaMillions tickets.)
