The Lockerbie Bomber Oil connection gains strength…

MSPs cast doubt on Lockerbie bomber’s medical papers

LABOUR and Tory MSPs have questioned whether freed Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset al Megrahi has three months or less to live.

They have turned their focus to medical papers released by the Scottish Government.

The medical papers said specialists believed Lockerbie bomber Megrahi might only survive months, but did not say whether it would be more or less than three months.

The report said another medical expert who had seen Megrahi considered his condition declined “significantly” in the week to August 3.

But Labour MSP Dr Richard Simpson, who specialised in prostate disease research, said Lockerbie bomber Megrahi may live for “far longer” than three months.

Dr Simpson said: “Kenny MacAskill released him apparently on the advice of just one doctor whose status is not clear and who is not named.”
