For me, this would be true. As far as I can remember, I’ve never believed in God.

I did very briefly as a kid. In fact, I was fairly literal about my beliefs, since I took what those children’s Bible books said at face value. As far as I knew as a little girl, manna really did rain down from Heaven, Methuselah really did live to be almost 1000 years old, and the plagues of Egypt actually happened.

That didn’t last long. By the time I was in middle school, I’d pretty much outgrown the whole thing. I still went through the motions all the way through high school, even going through Confirmation, but by that point, I couldn’t believe in any of it any longer. It just didn’t make much sense to me. Still doesn’t, really.
