My ex and I were in a large dept store. We ambled around a bit and got lost. My ex asks, where are the escalators? It just so happened I spied them off in the distance.

I said. ‘They are over here’.

She replied, ‘No they are not’.

‘I’m looking at them!

‘They are not there’.

I pointed them out. Needless to say, she was most upset.
