The moment that perfectly illustrated that to the world was when Clint Eastwood was yelling at a chair on live TV during the RNC.

Right wing nutters went on about how great Clint’s speech was. Everyone else was confused about what the fuck they had just watched and if he was even referring to the same man who’d been POTUS for the last few years.

Yeah most people saw that speech and wondered what the fuck Eastwood was rambling about. To the nutcases, it was up there with the Gettysburg Address, I Have a Dream, and others.
