Whoa. Flipped on the teevee and The View came on in the midst of an altercation between Joy Behar and Meghan McCain. Intense. Started with McCain talking about how offended she was with the way they were discussing the Porter issue as if they were putting down the abused wives (they weren’t at all, she was just trying to change the subject from Kelly supporting Porter) and then Behar said she was offended by Republicans. Got real about then.

Apparently the tactic that the wingnuts have settled on is to defend Porter by-proxy by faking “concern” for the ex-wives and wanting the media to drop the story by “leaving them alone.”
