Oh man, you were lucky. The only thing I ever learned about the USA was that it sucks and that we once allowed slavery. That’s about it. The three Greatest Americans were Crispus Attucks, Harriet Tubman and Malcolm X.

Basically, all knowledge that I have, I learned on my own time and own initiative. In college I had a specialty major so didn’t learn much “normal stuff” there either.
