Whenever Michelle Malkin’s name comes up, it’s hard for me to read on.

What does it say when an ideological “leader” of your party originally rose to prominence by publishing a book advocating concentration camps for American citizens? That isn’t a selective interpretation or an obscure piece of work. It’s on Amazon, for chrissake.

Why was The Crazy not outright rejected years ago, let alone now? Did she somehow slip under the radar due to the temporary insanity surrounding 9/11?

I’m really not sure. I think Malkin has been kept around in part for her looks. And as crazy as she is, she doesn’t (usually) sound as crazy or hateful on TV as she does on her blog(s).

I have no other explanation for why Our Lady of the Internment Camps was ever given any credence, except that media conglomerates thought a female ‘conservative’ who isn’t white and is anti-immigration would mean $$. I assume they thought she’d be a moneymaker just as Coulter has been. Being hateful and wrong all the time, about everything has never stopped Coulter’s media appearances either.
