re: #172 stpaulbear
I started getting tinnitus in my 30’s from playing and listening to loudbands while working days in a noisy warehouse. It never went away. Hearing damage sucks big time.
I didn’t realize until I was in my teens that it’s not normal to hear a high-pitched tone (roughly 16.5 kHz range) in a quiet room.
I turned the speakers up very loud with my ears next to them when I was 3.
I don’t do concerts without earplugs.
