I’m still in the process of getting my new Chinese work visa. Getting it could not happen too soon. I’m feeling very uneasy about being in the USA right now.

Imagine feeling safer in a one-party oligarchy with constricted civil rights than in your own ostensibly democratic, free country. The irony is not lost on me.

Let’s just say I’m genuinely happy that I’m not living in the USA right now.
