I realize that it almost has to happen, but states have to find solutions to these union benefit problems…it is unfair to ask tax payers from one state to bail out another, more than once…people are gonna get real pissy about this issue

It’s a *huge* problem! A promise made to State workers (or Feds or the Military) and not kept is immoral. State, Federal, and Military personnel accept lower wages than those in the private sector, (see Blackwater, Consultants, &c) to be civil servants (to work as the advocates for citizens of a state or nation) in large part because they know they will get benefits in their dottage that are as good or better than those received by equivalent workers in the private sector.
