It’s greasy and full of fat. A piece is approximately 1/100th of a heart attack.
3 slices (normal for a BLT) will have ~9 g of fat, of which 3 g are saturated. The remainder are monounsaturates. Monounsaturated fats are “good fats”, the same thing you get in olive oil, and encourage things like HDL.
HDL, as you know if you’ve done a little nutritional research, helps reduce the risk of a heart attack.
It’s not an apple, but it’s a long way from “1/100th of a heart attack.”
