It really is amazingly stupid. All the evils of racism are blamed on “big government”.

As if racist government institutions magically became racist on their own only because of emanations from the Lovecraftian ur-evil of “big government”.

Sorry Mr. libertarian idiot, we have and have had racism in US government only because of racism in US society.

Not so incidentally, the main instances of massive progress in confronting this issue in the US were because of federal action.
