I don’t give a rat’s ass about her modeling career. It’s when she does interviews and says things like Billy Bush egged Trump on to say dirty and bad stuff; and describe Trump as a “teenage boy” who was nothing but a victim of peer pressure and the “left-wing media” that she opens herself up for criticism.

In the big scheme of things, Melania is totally unimportant, but all this sympathy for how sad she looks and of her being a poor bird in a gilded cage—uh uh. Not buying it.

Just a reminder that I haven’t actually expressed anywhere sympathy for how she looks or being in a gilded cage. Or even said that she’s exempt from criticism for things that she has said.

My contributions have been solely on the topic of slut-shaming. I absolutely believe that it is appropriate for her to face the consequences of shit she has said and done that is within the political sphere; all I want is to see the response appropriate to the topic at hand, instead of venturing off into unrelated things like her career.
