Ultimately, I do too. I know this is probably going to sound weird, but I think this needs to play out a bit longer, and not collapse all at once. Two things need to come out of this:
1. The GOP needs to be punished by people finally figuring out that the party would have sold the country for the wealthy.
2. The media needs to break with the idea that they need to be friends with politicians in order to do their jobs. There are more and more that are getting that, and as I see NYT and WaPo competing for scoops, I’m seriously encouraged, but too many news orgs have lazy “reporters” that amount to no more than reporting on the headlines of others. NYT, WaPo, CNN, etc., need to get to a point where they kick these people to the curb.

Edit: And by number 1, I mean it has to get to the point where some people go “what the fuck have I been voting for all these years?”
