I see it as the same category of things like the 9/11 museum. For some people, it’s too raw and painful. For others, it’s a way to learn about and connect with a past they were more separated from.

I have no interest in going to the museum but that doesn’t mean I’m going to tell other people they shouldn’t bother.

Similar also to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I have been there, but I know a whole bunch of people who don’t ever want to (including my sister).
