Oh for Pete’s sakes. Poland still likes us, and no one would have even blinked if a Republican president had done likewise. I ain’t sayin’ it’s what I would have done, but I am an old Cold War hand.

There’s a difference between ‘made a debatable call’ and ‘has damaged our image with the world’.
