Srsly? We have a “gang sign” now?

This is where—either out of ignorance or pure malice—these assholes make up new bullshit. That “gang sign” is done during prayer, while one is in the sitting position reciting the Tashahhud. The finger is tapped up & down during the recitation, symbolically smacking Satan in the head, or so I was taught. There’s a visual shown in steps 8-9 on this wikiHow page.

Now I’m going to be on the lookout for Republicans & Tea Baggers throwing our gang sign. //
