Hey jcm, I’m using Internet 7 - inadvertantly downloaded IE 8 (it’s in Service Pack 2) but got a live person on the phone at HP and she talked me through getting rid of it!

Since your issues seem to be web based, you might think about giving Firefox or Chrome a try and see if it makes a difference.
