It’s not just materialism, TP. Lots of people have big sections of their lives on their laptops. It’s not just that losing the laptop would be a major problem, its also that if someone else were to snag it they could do some serious damage to you with its data.

If your laptop is that sensitive, you can’t risk traveling jet-lagged with it.
