The actual pamphlet-handing-overs scene? I don’t know, probably. But mostly I just mean that there were certainly pro-Paul speakers at some of these rallies, pro-Paul signs at most of them, and probably little Ron Paul Campaign for Liberty tables with paraphernalia for anyone interested.

I didn’t go to a Tea Party. People here have been saying they were mostly populated by normal-appearing folks. All I’m saying is, it’s a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and come up with a few new recruits.

I went to two, and there was nothing like that at all going on. Grandmas and young parents - stuff like that - no clearly visible nuts, no information tables, nothing.

The one in Olympia, Washington, was organized partly by locals (a couple of local radio stations were promoting it), and I think there was a conservative think-tank involved that has nothing to do with Ron Paul, that I’m aware of.

I could see how what you described could happen, but I was wondering how wide spread that might have been.
