I LOVE unsalted seeds, almonds etc. and would greatly appreciate being able to buy a can of soup that doesn’t contain at least 50% of the RDA of salt. Next time you are in the supermarket, take a look at the soup aisle and keep in mind that they somehow find 2 serving per can.

Campbell’s has a whole line of low-sodium soups out…

(disclosure: i have no idea whether sunflower seeds would fall under such a proposal, but i have this oddly dim view of the scientific chops of your average representative…just using it as an example of a high-salt food that i can’t recreate with table salt)
