1972,,, recruiting office in Chelsea Massachusetts,,, me and three friends ,, NON of us were ‘asked”

So ,, it may have been a “policy” but it wasn’t enforced 100% of the time

And it wasn’t a ‘policy’ it was a POLICY, beginning with the First World War. Read up on this. A lot of people got very, very fucked over by our attitude about this.
