Dunno, I rather enjoy my rye - tasty stuff, truly.

Gin is a year-round pick for me; used to drink it in New England all through the winters. Gin makes me thoughtful and mean, so maybe not. (Still, gin and bitters… hmmm.)

Bourbon, well, I’ve put down probably 3 liters worth of the stuff since Wednesday.

Well then, it sounds like it’s time to cycle back to rye or gin.

As for bourbon, if you haven’t tried Basil Hayden’s you might like it. It’s made from a mash with a higher rye content and it’s a tad lighter, in color and flavor. Been my favorite for years.
