I actually don’t think this is a bad idea, honestly. I grew up around guns and was taught how to use them by my father and I also learned just how dangerous they were and just how dead, dead is. We saw what happens when a round from a 30.06 hits a full gallon jug of kool-aid and the damage it does when I took my hunter safety course.

I really think if more kids learned the reality of guns rather than what they see on TV it could have a positive effect.

Yeah but mandatory gun education especially with all the already mandatory classes kids have to take to get a diploma? I do agree though, it would be helpful if more people saw that guns are deadly weapons though.
