The University of Pittsburgh. Back 10 years ago when I was with UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), there was a big branding push to start referring to it on everything as “The UPMC”. It kinda fell by the wayside after a year or two.

There are people who insist on an article in front of acronym agency names, like The NASA. It’s a hard sell.
