He’s blaming it on Ritalin, which has been around for a very long time. My sister started taking Ritalin beginning when she was seven. She is 56 years old now (and obviously hasn’t taken it for decades). I look in vain for all the gun violence we should have been expecting from drugged-up schoolchildren in the 1970s and 1980s.

Why can’t we talk about, at the minimum, the responsibility of the parents to lock up their damn guns? I mean, you’d be in serious trouble if you left your key in your car and someone took it and hurt someone or ran into a house. There would be liability. But a gun? There’s no damned liability whatsoever.

Republicans won’t tell Mommy and Daddy what to do with their guns, BUT they will gladly go into Mommy and Daddy’s bedroom to confiscate their birth control and sex toys!
