Fine, you don’t want to support your assertion about architecture.

So I’ll just summarize: American architecture is nothing to brag about.

OTOH, Housing codes in the US are pretty good, in that they lessen common problems found earlier or in many parts of the world (fires, earthquakes, floods, etc.)
