I as at a Houston Astro’s game once and they have a board that transcribes the announcer comments for the deaf. Once the announcers said something and the crowd cheered, then the announcer comments appeared on the board and then it said “crowd cheers” and then the crowd cheered again, what was taken as a command to cheer, the the transcriber put up “you don’t have to cheer this board!”, then the crowd laughed and the transcriber dutifully put up “crowd laughs”.
