I don’t agree. What is needed is for the person to have had adequate time and notice to get the ID. If someone is told 14 months before the election “You need to get an ID to vote in November 2012’s election.” and then repeatedly reminded to get the ID, then if they do not get it they have only themselves to blame. But they must be able to get the ID without undue hardship, and in the case of the Mississippi law that is not the case.

But what if you need picture id to get picture id? See GDFranks post above.

It’s suppression. No reason for the fear. Except for lack of GOP votes.

My brother works with the homeless. They have a program called iDignity. Where THEY pay to get homeless people their ID’s. It costs $ and it takes charity.

Absolutely nothing to do with the right to fucking vote for the assholes who dont care about you anyway.
